12. Adjust the truing stand gauge to the edge of the rim.
13. Spin the rim slowly. If the rim contacts the gauge near a
marked spoke group, loosen the spokes in the group on the
opposite side of the rim. Tighten the spokes in the group that
is nearest the gauge.
14. If the rim contacts the gauge between two marked spoke
groups, loosen the spokes on the opposite side of the gauge
in the two closest marked groups. Tighten the spokes in the
groups that are nearest the gauge.
Standard: 0.00 - 0.08"
Notice
Always loosen and tighten spokes an equal number of
turns.
15. Starting at the valve stem hole, lubricate and tighten the
remaining spoke nipples one turn at a time.
Torque: 40 in-lbs

Caution
Do not tighten spokes too tight or damage to rim, hub,
spokes, or nipples may occur. If spokes are too loose,
they will loosen further when the wheel is used. Either
condition will adversely effect motorcycle handling.
16. To prevent inner tube puncture when tire is installed, File
or grind off any spoke shafts that protrude through the inside
surface of the nipple.

INSTALLATION page 12-18)

with 36 psi cold
Service Limit: 1/16" minimum tread depth

with 40 psi cold
Service Limit: 1/16" minimum tread depth
