Insert a punch into the hub from the stamped text side. 

With the tip of the punch on the inner race of the opposite 
bearing, tap out the bearing retainer and bearing.

Notice

If bearings are removed, they must be replaced with new 
ones.

4.

Remove the bearing spacer.

5.

From the unstamped side of the hub, drive out the 

remaining bearing retainer and bearing.

6.

If it is necessary to remove the hub from the wheel, 

remove the tire and rim strip. Unscrew all the spoke nipples 
and remove the spokes and rim from the hub

If hub was removed from wheel,

Install a new bearing in the stamped text side of the hub 

with the bearing markings facing outward. Drive the bearing 
in squarely until it is fully seated.

Install the bearing spacer.

4.

Install a new bearing in the unstamped side of the hub. 

Make sure the bearing markings face outward. Drive the 
bearing in squarely only until it makes contact with the 
bearing spacer.

5.

Install both bearing retainers.
