34. Remove the engine control module (ECM) bracket to 
frame screws.

35. Pull the two fuse holders from the battery box bracket.

36. Remove the diagnostic connector from the battery box 
bracket.

37. Remove the battery box and bracket.

38. Pull the ECM bracket toward the rear wheel as far as 
possible.

39. Disconnect the engine ground wires.

1. GROUND WIRE

40. Support the engine from underneath.

41. Remove the front engine mount nuts.

42. Remove both front mount screws and spacers.

43. Remove both front engine mount flanges and engine 
mounts.

2. SPACER

3. ENGINE MOUNT FLANGE
4. ENGINE MOUNT

3. Remove the left side regulator bracket screw.

4. Remove the right side engine bracket, voltage regulator, 
and regulator bracket as an assembly.

Notice

The left side engine bracket should stay attached to the 
engine.
