ALWAYS

take

time

to use the proper

size screwdr iver to

prevent

damaging

the orifice.

Tighten

the

orifice

only until it just seats.

high-speed

orifice

plug

using

NEW

gasket.

Tighten

the

plug

securely.

Check to be sure the surface

of the

intake

manifold

is clean and free of any old

gasket

material.

Place

NEW

gasket

position on the intake manifold.

Connect

the fuel line to the carbu-

retor,

or on engines

equipped

with

a self-

contained

fuel

tank,

replace

the

line

be-

tween the shut-off

valve and the carburetor.

Slide the carburetor

over the intake

manifold

mounting

studs,

and then secure

in place with the two nuts.

Tighten the nuts
