Mounting the Cone antenna with PTFE sealing

This section describes how to install the Rosemount 5900C with Cone antenna and PTFE
sealing.

Follow this instruction to install the Cone antenna with PTFE sealing on a tank.

Prerequisites

See

Cone antenna requirements

for information on mounting considerations before

installing the gauge on the tank on a tank.

Procedure

1. Remove the locking ring and the adapter from the antenna. Mount the flange

gasket on top of the cone plate. Make sure that the bottom side of the flange is flat
and all parts are clean and dry.

Note

Use no gasket on top of the plate.
