Moldboard / Scraper
$
Inspect the scrapers on the moldboard
every 50 operating hours and replace if
necessary.
If surplus material is left in the milling
lane, also check these components.
The scrapers ensure that almost no mill
material remains in the milling lane,
thereby ensuring that waste material is
collected up properly.
These components, installed down the
full length of the moldboard, are fitted
with hardened metal tips which gradually
wear down over time.
- Raise the machine, completely retract
the moldboard and fully raise the side
boards.
- Ensure that the engine cannot be
started.
- Remove worn scrapers by unfasten-
ing the two hex bolts.
- Clean the locating surface, install new
components properly and, if neces-
sary, adjust to the required height us-
ing the longitudinal slots.
Note that several scraper blades (1-5) of
different sizes must be used!
