Diesel engine

The engine oil level should always be
checked before starting work using the
dipstick (1).
Always check the oil with the machine
stationary.

The dipstick is located behind the left-
hand flap on the engine compartment.
This flap is opened using a square-sec-
tion wrench.

Too high an oil level destroys the seals
in the engine not enough oil leads to
overheating and destruction of the en-
gine.

The filler aperture (2) for engine oil is lo-
cated under the left-hand flap on the en-
gine compartment.

Carry out an oil change every 250 oper-
ating hours.

Follow advice in the Operating instruc-
tions for the engine!
