Control Panel and Drives
The control panel includes the On/Off, Halt, and Reset buttons and an LCD
display.

Floppy
OCP Display
OCP display. The OCP display is a 16-character LCD that indicates status
during power-up and self-test. While the operating system is running, the LCD
displays the system type. Its controller is on the XBUS.
CD-ROM drive. The CD-ROM drive is used to load software, firmware, and
updates. Its controller is on PCI1 on the PCI backplane on the system
motherboard.
Floppy disk drive. The floppy drive is used to load software and firmware
updates. The floppy controller is on the XBUS on the PCI backplane on the
system motherboard.

On/Off button. Powers the system on or off. When the LED to the right of the
button is lit, the power is on. The On/Off button is connected to the power
supplies through the system interlock and the RCM logic.
