3. 

The feed pump is automatically switched to Operator mode. 
Open the pump menu and enter the flow rate, and start pump to inject the reagent into  

the MCV. 

4. 

Once all transfection complex is added, press to stop the feed pump.  

5. 

A prompt to inject transfection complex into the MCV needs to be acknowledged. 
Press 

 to acknowledge. 

6. 

The system is in auto sequence until Mixing Duration elapses.  

7. 

Once Mixing Duration elapses, a prompt to confirm Transfection is complete will display. 
Press 

 to acknowledge that the Transfection Phase is complete. 

8.3 Auxiliary Phases

Auxiliary Phases can be initiated while a Media Phase is running though they are typically run after Media Maintenance, which puts all 
control loops in Program Auto mode. To start an Auxiliary Phase during an active Sequence Phase, perform the following steps:

1. Select the Auxiliary Phase
2. Enter the Auxiliary Phase setpoints 
3. Press 

 to start the Auxiliary Phase

The system automatically places the active Sequence Phase on Hold to allow the selected Auxiliary Phase to run. Once the Auxiliary Phase 
has completed its run, the system resumes the Sequence Phase that was placed on Hold. 
NOTE 1:

 User may select an Auxiliary Phase to run during an active Auxiliary Phase. 

NOTE 2:

 User may run up to three phases: one Sequence Phase and two Auxiliary Phases. For example, one Sequence Phase is on Hold, 

one Auxiliary Phase is on Hold so that a second Auxiliary Phase can run. The system will not allow a third Auxiliary Phase to run.
