Cell Removal Phase
User Action
System Auto Sequence
User initiates Cell Removal at the HMI.
Prompts user to enter the following setpoints:
• Cell Removal Air Pressure (psi)
• Cell Removal Pressurization Delay Duration (min.)
• Cell Removal Duration (min.)
User enters setpoints:
• Cell Removal Air Pressure 15 (psi)
• Cell Removal Pressurization Delay Duration
0.2 (min.)
• Cell Removal Duration 0.25 (min.)
User selects the Play button.
Yellow pinch valve is de-energized to open to Harvest Solution.
Blue pinch valve is de-energized to open to Harvest Waste.
Green pinch valve is energized to open to Harvest Collection.
Harvest pressure valve is energized to open to Pressure Control valve.
Starts automated control of the Pressure control valve to maintain the
Cell Removal Air Pressure setpoint.
Starts Cell Removal Pressurization Delay timer.
When Cell Removal Pressurization Delay timer has elapsed, the blue
pinch valve is energized to open to Harvest Flush.
Starts Cell Removal Duration timer.
When Cell Removal Duration Timer elapses, stops automated control
of pressure control valve and de-energizes the Harvest pressure valve
to vent.
Prompts user that the phase is complete.
User acknowledges Cell Removal Phase
completion.

Final Rinse Phase
After this cycle is complete, the user will run Cell Removal Phase to collect all rinse solution in Cell Harvest bottle

System Auto Sequence
User initiates Final Rinse at the HMI.
Prompts user to enter the following setpoints:
• Final Rinse Pump Flow Rate (mL/min.)
• Final Rinse Volume (mL)
User enters setpoints:
• Final Rinse Pump Flow Rate 400 (mL/min.)
• Final Rinse Volume 500 (mL)
User selects the Play button.
Yellow pinch valve is energized to open to Harvest Wash.
Blue pinch valve is energized to open to Harvest Flush.
Green pinch valve is de-energized to open to Harvest Solution.
Harvest Pressure valve is energized to open to Pressure Control valve.
Pressure Control valve is set to 0 psi.
Resets Recirculation Pump Totalizer.
Starts recirculation pump clockwise at Final Rinse Flow Rate until
totalizer reaches Final Rinse Volume.
Prompts user that the phase is complete.
User acknowledges Final Rinse Phase
completion.

System Auto Sequence
User initiates Shutdown at the HMI.
Prompts user to select End Batch to confirm end-of-processing time.
User selects End Batch.
Stops automated and manual control of all equipment modules and
control modules.
Stops Batch timer. Stops Inoculation timer.
Stops logging data.
User dissembles the system.
