• Media addition can be done as a single cycle (all at once) or in multiple cycles depending on

user’s protocol.

NOTE:

The system automatically limits Media Addition Volume to prevent sending a volume to

the MCV which exceeds the fill limit. The window with flashing red and white fields warns the

user of the error.

to acknowledge prompt that Media Addition is complete.

8.3.4 Bolus Addition
This phase is used to add feeds/bolus to the MCV at user-defined instances.
NOTE:

The user is responsible for visually monitoring the media level in the MCV to ensure levels are not unintentionally rising above or

sinking below the expected level over time.
