Step 3
This is to slow down the speed of the skew correction roller that is ahead of the other roller.
Appropriate speed is estimated from the skew degree calculated at step 1 and is used for
control.
Timing: When the leading edge of paper is 30 mm – 70 mm ahead from the skew correction
roller.

The registration front roller is back to the engaged status.
Timing: After the trailing edge of paper goes through the registration front roller separation
sensor.

Pre-registration roller 1 and 2 are also back to the engaged status after the trailing edge
