MONITOR PANEL - MW5940
The MW5940 version of monitor panel
has all the functionality of the MY5972
with the addition of surround spill /
downmix faders for in-depth control
over surround paths and a joystick for
surround panning / output positioning
of mono or stereo paths.
Monitor panels fit in the control bed,
providing a dedicated set of the main
monitoring controls.
As well as monitoring controls, surround
spill, surround downmix and joystick
panning, this panel also provides On-Air
/ Rehearse condition
switching, GPIO
assignable button & LED tallies, as well as
talkback keys.
If required, for example on a large
console or for multiple operators, multiple
monitor panels can be fitted. Each can
switch between controlling monitor 1
and monitor 2 as well as having access
to miscellaneous monitor / headphone
outputs.
Connections
An RJ45 labelled 'CTRL SYS' provides
the POE power and data connection from
a POE switch / port as determined by the
surface layout configuration in the Main
Application.
A 25 pin D-Type connector 'Reset &
Meter' is fed from the upstand reset panel
to take in the reset lines.
A second RJ45, 'Reset' passes on the
reset lines to the rest of the system
by connecting to a POE switch RST
connector.
The keyboard, mouse & VGA connectors
are for factory setup only.
