Carefully lay the blade server on a flat, static-protective surface, with the cover side
up.

Press the blade-cover release (as shown by

) on each side of the blade server,
rotate the cover on the cover pins (

) and lift the cover open.
5.
Lay the cover flat, or lift it from the blade server and store it for future use.

CAUTION:
Hazardous energy is present when the blade server is connected to the power source.
Always replace the blade server cover before installing the blade server.
