Combining the individual components
7.1.1
Power supply
The combination of the individual components mainly depends on the desired
power supply component:

Sizing mains filters
KCU at HMV and HCS - number of axes, C

The KCU drive connection box transmits the DC bus voltage of
the supply unit to the KSM/KMS via the hybrid cable. KCU acts
like one more axis with higher C
Y
(capacitance against ground).
When selecting the supply unit or converter, observe the allowed
combinations of HNF/NFD mains filter and HNL mains choke.
Information on how to size the mains filter in mixed systems (IndraDrive Mi
(KCU, KSM, KMS) components toghether with IndraDrive M (HMS, HMD) or
IndraDrive C/Cs (HCS) components):

Power supply by HMV01, HMV02, HCS01, HCS02 or HCS03
Supply units
Both supply units (HMV01, HMV02) and converters (HCS01, HCS02,
HCS03) can be used as supply units for an IndraDrive Mi drive system.
The sum of the electric powers of all KCU at the DC bus of the supply unit
should not exceed P
