2.2.2 System Settings
Information about the BVS ID are summarized here. Additionally, the appearance of the user interface can be
altered. The system settings are categorized as different Sub- Categories (System, Network, Communication,
Reports). The system settings can only be changed in the configuration mode.
System
Information about the system is displayed and system wide settings can be made.

This section contains important information about the system:
Setting Description
Firmware
version The currently installed version of the SensorApp software.
Log files A link to the log files of the BVS ID .
Serial
number Serial number of the BVS ID .
Use NTP
server Determines whether a time server should be used to get the current time.
NTP IP
address The address of the time server to ask for the date and time. The time zone still has to be set
manually.
NOTE
When the BVS ID is connected to a network whose DHCP server provides an NTP
server or it has an internet connection, then the BVS ID synchronizes the time with
that NTP server or with Google automatically, even if this field is not active.

