Value Meaning Description
0x0001 (1) Default Alle 32 bytes of process data are available for
the camera process data interface.
0x0002 (2) Comprehensive Condition
Monitoring Byte 31 of the input data is reserved for the
CCM byte. In this direction, there are only 31
bytes for the camera data process interface
available.

Description
Only the signal with the highest priority is displayed. The signals are listed in descending priority.

Name Signal Meaning
Device Discovery Blue, flashing 3 Hz The Device Discovery can be activated
via a system command to find the
BVS
ID again.
Short Circuit Pin 2 / Pin 4 Red, flashing 3 Hz Short circuit at pin 2 (I/O Trigger) or pin
4 (IO-Link / SIO).
Failure Red, static General error. The sensor is not ready.
Teach-In Red, static The BVS ID is currently in teach-in
mode (e.g. teach-in of inclination
detection)
Maintenance Required Blue, static Maintenance must be performed.
E.g. threshold of the inclination is
exceeded (default: function is switched
off).
Overload Orange, flashing 3 Hz Overload on pin 2 (I/O Trigger) or pin 4
(IO-Link / SIO) has been detected.
Bad Signal Quality Orange, flashing 1 Hz Poor signal quality, the quality of one
code or several codes is below the
configured warning threshold.
Out of Specification Yellow, flashing 3 Hz The BVS ID e is operated outside of
specifications. A reliable measurement
signal can no longer be ensured.
Communication Green, alternating with LED off in a
ratio of 10:1, 1 s period IO-Link communication is active. The
BVS ID is ready.
