If no Data Filters are configured, and the Data Filter Action option is toggled to ACCEPT, then no
incoming data will be buffered in any of the files. They should always be set to REJECT unless there are
Data Filters specifically configured for accepting only certain data.
Event Message Settings
The EventMessage Settings option displays the menu that permits customization of the event message that
appears in traps, Emails, pages, etc. Each option in this menu is an ON/OFF toggle Include Date and Time,
Site Name, Sensor ID, User Defined Name, User Defined State, and Event Class in the messages. The
default setting for each is ON, except for Include Event Class which defaults to OFF.
The Reset Event Settings are used to configure event actions to be performed after the unit has been
restarted. These actions would be executed regardless of whether the unit was reset via a restart command or
by power cycling.
Events Settings as accessed via Web UI
The Alarm / Event Definitions settings are located under the Events tab of the left hand Settings Menu. The
menu is not organized the same, but the settings are identical. Data Filter Action is at the top of the Data
Alarm/Filter Settings page.
Class Table
The Class Table option menu is used for configuring event severity classification settings.
