Note:
While the TeleBoss is processing the update file, it is very important that the unit not be power-
cycled, nor should the Reset button be pushed.
Upgrades using the Web Interface
You must be logged in with a MASTER security setting for this field to be visible. Navigate to Administration
then System Administration using the left hand menu.
Software updates are occasionally available. On this Information portal check the
to see the most recently released software version.
1. Save the file on a computer or server accessible by the TeleBoss.
2. Click the "Choose File" button and navigate to your saved software file and select it. You will see the file
name next to the button.
3. Click the "Upload" button. This is a large file so it may take a few minutes to load depending on the
connection speed of your network. Do not navigate away from the Administration page until the unit
completes loading the file.
4. Once the file loads the TeleBoss will begin to process the update. After approximately a minute the unit
will become unresponsive. All of the lights on the unit will flash during the update, and then the unit will
reboot. This process takes approximately five minutes. Once the unit reboots the user will need to log
back into the unit and it will be available to use normally.
Note:
DO NOT REMOVE THE POWER TO THE TELEBOSS DURING THE SOFTWARE UPDATE
PROCESS. Powering down a TeleBoss mid-update will likely disable the unit. If the unit loses power
during the upgrade process and becomes uncommunicative contact Asentria Technical Support.
