Action Settings as accessed via Web UI
The Actions Settings and the Action Schedule are located at the top of the General Actions page. The
General Actions page is under the Events tab in the Settings Menu section of the GUI.
General Settings
The General Settings menu is where you can set the site name, answer string, confirmation prompt,
date/time, and other general settings.

Site Name
This is a text string to set the name assigned to this TeleBoss. This name is included with alarm messages
(Traps, Emails, etc.) and is displayed at the top of the Status screen. The name should be unique for clarity.
The maximum length is 40 characters. The d
efault setting is “830 - <
serial number

Answer String
sets the string that is presented when a user connects to the T830 via Telnet or modem. (Max
length 31 chars)
Escape Key
is the decimal ASCII character code of the key you must press three times to escape from
passthrough or other transparent modes. Default is 27, the <ESC> key.
Confirmation Prompt
is an ON/OFF toggle to set whether a confirmation prompt (
