PROGRAMMING INTERFACES
Introduction
This section provides illustrations of the Asterion DC Multioutput Series power supply
’s
rear panel layout. Refer to Figure 8-1, regardless of the layout, the component functions
are common across all models and those that are pertinent to the Remote Analog
Programming Interface Connector is described here. The analog programming
functionality can be exercised from either of the communication interfaces (RS232, USB,
Ethernet and IEEE 488.2 GPIB).

Remote Analog Programming Connector details
There are three 8-pin rectangular connectors (Refer to Figure 8-2) located at the rear
panel for each channel and provides remote Analog Programming control signals for
individual channels
to increase the user’s operating control of the power supply. The
mating receptacle is TE Connectivity P/N 2-1445055-8 with 8-Pin male terminals. The
connector terminals accommodate wire sizes from #24 - #30.
