Current Monitor Output Calibration
STEP
DESCRIPTION
1.
Issue a *CLS command.
2.
Issue a *RST command.
3.
Connect the DMM at PIN 8 (IMON1) and PIN 6 (MON_RTN) for channel 1, PIN
8 (IMON2) and PIN 6 (MON_RTN) for channel 2 and PIN 8 (IMON3) and PIN 6
(MON_RTN) for channel 3. Connect a short across the output of respected
channel. Type the following commands.
SOUR<n>
:VOLT <UUT’s Full
-scale voltage>
SOUR<n>:CURR 0
OUTP<n>:STAT 1
CAL<n>
:UNLOCK “6867”
CAL<n>:INIT:CURR:MON
4.
Calibrate the Offset point.
CAL<n>:OUTP:CURR:MON:OFFS <voltage at PIN8 read from DMM>
5.
Set the output current to 80% of channel Full-scale rated current.
SOUR<n>:CURR <0.8 times channel Full-scale current>
CAL<n>:OUTP:CURR:MON:FSC <voltage at PIN8 read from DMM>
6.
Store the Calibration.
CAL<n>:STORE
CAL<n>:LOCK
