j. Select the Nicolet iN5 Microscope MCT-A or DTGS Detector KBr-EP test
and then click Qualify.
Follow the command prompts to complete the Transmission and
Reflection tests. When complete, remove the Validation plate and store
in the protective case.
IMPORTANT
You will need to manually move
and
focus the stage at each
background and sample location when prompted.
k. If you have an MCTA detector and Ge Tip ATR continue with step 58l
otherwise continue with step 59.
l. Install the contact alert plate on to the X-Y stage and then insert the 32
Mil Polystyrene sample slide on the plate.
m. Select the Ge Tip ATR Qualification test and follow the prompts to
complete the test.
