d. Level the calibration scale.
The scale should be level as viewed through
the eyepieces.
i.
If the scale is level and you have a binocular viewer only, continue
with step 45.
ii.
If the scale is level and you have a camera installed, continue with
step 40.
iii.
If the scale is not level complete step 39e and then continue as
instructed in either step i or ii above.

Using a 3/32 inch balldriver, loosen the setscrew on the right-side of the
viewer dovemount and rotate the viewer clockwise or counter clockwise until
the scale is level as viewed through the eyepieces and then lock the
setscrew to secure the viewer.
Note
Ensure the setscrew circled below is loosened enough so the entire
viewer can rotate. Rotate the viewer by grasping the viewer mount
not
the
camera focus ring.
