f. Install the X-Y stage.
i. Using the z stage focus knobs, turn the knobs clockwise (away
from you) to lower the z stage so the z stage dovemount is just
above the condenser.
ii. Install the manual X-Y stage.
Slightly tilt the stage “up” at the front;
engage the tabs
under the back-end of stage circular opening with
the
back edge of the z stage dovemount and then lower the front end of
the stage.
