i. From the brief description drop-down menu select 10X and click Set to

j. Remove the calibration slide from the sample holder.
45. Align the Ge Tip ATR; if you do not have a Ge Tip ATR, continue with step 46.
a. Install a gold or aluminum slide into the sample holder.
b. Using the z stage control knobs focus on the slide while looking at
Microview or through the binocular viewer.
