b. Focus condenser and adjust X-Y position.
Ensure the condenser is
focused by
fine tuning
the condenser knob if necessary using the dark
corner/corners as a reference.
If necessary, using two 5/64 inch balldrivers, move the condenser in the direction
necessary to view two dark corners if only one is visible. Then, adjust the
condenser X-Y alignment screws to center the circle of illumination using the
corners as a reference and then adjust the condenser straight up or down or
straight left or right until [all] corners are out of the field of view.
