Flushing and Conditioning the Dionex EGC

1. Locate the yellow 0.5 mL/min, 7 MPa (1000 psi) backpressure coil

(P/N 053765) in the EG Ship Kit (P/N 072047).

2. Connect the coil to the

ELUENT OUT

port of the RFIC

Eluent Degasser

(see

Figure 4-28

). Direct the open end to a waste container. This is a

temporary connection.

NOTE

The backpressure must be at least 1.4 MPa (200 psi).
