CAUTION:
When replacing a sensor, verify that the sensor is properly aligned with its
socket before inserting it into the socket. The CO and H
2
S sensors have
alignment slots which match up with alignment tabs in the sockets. The
combustible sensors each have two non-polarized contacts which must line
up with the contacts in their socket. Forcing a sensor into its socket may
damage the sensor or the socket.
7 . If your instrument has a factory installed dummy sensor, ensure that it is still
installed correctly. Make sure that the flat side is up and the hollow side is down.
