Pressure Relief Valve
(Test 9, Step 1)
This step closes the exhalation valve (EV) and establishes oxygen flow to verify
that the pressure relief valve (PRV) functions properly.
Diagnostic code 3120 indicates that the PRV cracking pressure is too high
(>170 cmH
2
O). Diagnostic code 3121 indicates that the PRV cracking
pressure is unstable (>20 cmH
2
O difference between three readings).
Diagnostic code 3122 indicates that the PRV cracking pressure is out of range
(>160 cmH
2
O or <120 cmH
2
O).
Red = air flow
Blue = O
2
flow
Black = no flow
