Symptom
Recommended Repair
Inhalation/exhalation
pressure readings out of
range at 5 cmH
2
O
1. Check for leaks at circuit connections, test lung, filters, etc.
2. Check for kinked or cut tubing from inhalation module to SOL4,
and from SOL4 to sensor PCB.
3. Check for kinked or cut tubing from exhalation pressure tap to
SOL3, and from SOL 3 to sensor PCB.
4. Check for leaks at the oxygen sensor/oxygen valve connection.
5. Replace the sensor PCB.
6. Replace the 3-station solenoid.
Low flow rate out of
range
1. Confirm correct altitude setting.
2. Check that safety valve solenoid is energized.
3. Verify that CV3 is correctly positioned and oriented.
4. Check for exhalation bacteria filter occlusions (perform the back
pressure test or replace filter).
5. Verify that CV4 is correctly positioned and oriented. If not,
reposition and re-test.
6. If CV4 is correctly positioned and oriented, replace CV4.
