Logic Inputs
The HPV 900 Series 2’s nine programmable
logic inputs are opto-isolated. The inputs
become “true” by closing contacts or switches
between the logic input terminal and voltage
source common (or voltage source). The
voltage supply for the logic inputs is 24VDC.
The choices for the voltage source common
(or voltage source) depend on if the user is
using an external voltage supply or using the
internal voltage supply.
Figure 9 shows the connection for using the
internal voltage supply. And in this case, the
voltage source common is TB1-21 (+24VDC
isolated).

Figure 10 shows the connection for using the
internal voltage supply. And in this case, the
voltage source common is TB1-23 (+24VDC
isolated common).
