Removing the press roller

3. Remove the two press roller bushings and the roller from the fixing unit.
•

Removing the press roller separation claws

4. Remove the screws and press roller separation claws.
5. Clean or replace the press roller and/or its separation claws.

• When refitting the press roller separation claws, ensure the slot is on the machine rear

and the projections of the claw mount are seated in the hole and slot of each claw as
shown in the diagram.

6. Refit all the removed parts.

• When refitting the press roller, ensure that the press roller bushings are not overriding

the fixing unit press plates and that the press roller does not touch the tips of its
separation claws.
