Take the halogen lamp out of the unit and check for conti-
nuity across the terminals. If none, replace it (see page
3-3-20).

Check for continuity. If none, replace the thermostat after
determining the cause.

Check for continuity across the terminals. If none, replace
them.

Run simulation 20 and check if CN4-5 on the main PCB
remains high. If it does, replace the main PCB.

If the halogen lamp does not light during simulation 20
after the main PCB has been found to be normal, replace
the composite PCB.

5. Developing section

not driven.

Run simulation 42 and if the check pattern copy is not
obtained, replace the main PCB.

Check the gears driving the developing section and
replace any broken gears.
