(10) Adjusting lateral magnification (correcting the lens position)

Make the following adjustment after replacing the lens unit, or if the lateral magnification is
not correct.

Procedure

Start

Enter simulation mode.

Enter 25 with the numeric keys.

Select the mode to be adjusted
with the paper select key.

Change the setting with the
zoom-up/down keys.

Press the print key.

The new setting is stored.

Press the stop/clear key.

Exit simulation mode.

Setting ranges: 0 to 50 for 100% copy

0 to 40 for enlargement copy
0 to 40 for reduction copy

References: 25 for 100% copy

20 for enlargement copy
20 for reduction copy

End

Press the all clear/reset key.

Press the print key to make a
test copy.

Is the copy image
