(2) Detaching and refitting the drum separation claws

Replace the drum separation claws as follows.

Procedure

1. Open the front cover and take the image formation unit out of the copier.
2. Detach the main charger and drum.
3. Remove the two screws and separation claw mount.

• When refitting the separation claw mount, ensure the claw lever sits between the two

tabs of the blade mount.

5. Remove the separation claw slide plate from the claw shaft.
