The fixing and eject section consists of the parts shown in Figure 1-3-35. When the paper
reaches the fixing section after the transfer process, it passes through the gap between the
press roller and heat roller, which is heated by the fixing heater (H), where pressure is
applied by the pressure springs so that toner on the paper is melted and fused onto the
paper.
When the fixing process is completed, the paper is separated from the heat and press rollers
by their separation claws and is ejected out of the copier by the rotation of the upper eject
pulley and lower eject roller.
