Turning the halogen lamp on

1. Enter 20 with the numeric keys.

2. Press the print key.

3. Select manual or photo mode and set the copy den-

sity (Exp.).

4. Press the print key. The halogen lamp lights at the

selected intensity for 10 s at maximum and the opti-
cal section fan motor operates at the same time.

• Pressing the stop/clear key turns the halogen

lamp off.

5. Press the stop/clear key.

Checking scanning operation

1. Enter 21 with the numeric keys.

2. Press the print key.

3. Select the magnification ratio with the zoom-up/

down keys.

4. Select the original size with the original select key.

5. Press the print key. The lens and mirrors 4 & 5

move to the positions for the selected magnification
ratio and the scanner repeats scanning at a width
and speed depending on the selected original size
and magnification ratio.

6. Press the stop/clear key. The scanner stops.

7. Press the stop/clear key.
