Fixing temperature control

A

210 ms after the main switch (MSW) has been turned on, the fixing heater (H) turns on
to heat the heat roller.

B

300 ms after the main switch (MSW) has been turned on, the internal cooling fan motor
(ICFM) rotates at full speed for 1000 ms and then at half speed.

C

In low temperature mode, when the fixing temperature reaches 167°C/332.6°F, the drive
motor (DM) and developing bias turn on to start stabilization drive control.

D

When the fixing temperature reaches 170°C/338°F, primary stabilization is achieved.
Copying is enabled if the time from the main switch (MSW) being turned on has reached
the following:
1 s if the fixing temperature was 100°C/212°F or above when the main switch was turned
on;
43 s if the fixing temperature was between 13°C/55.4°F and 99°C/210.2°F and the
external temperature was 18°C/64.4°F or above when the main switch was turned on;
or
69 s in low temperature mode (the external temperature is below 20°C/68°F).

E

When copying is enabled in low temperature mode, the drive motor (DM) turns off and,
after 200 ms, the developing bias turns off to end stabilization drive control.

F

When the fixing temperature reaches 175°C/347°F, secondary stabilization is achieved,
and the fixing heater (H) is turned on and off as required to keep the fixing temperature
at 175°C/347°F.
