(3) Adjusting the copy image after drum replacement (reference)

Perform the following adjustment if the copy image density is still incorrect after making
other adjustments.

Caution

: Do not change the settings for modes 2 and 4 in simulation 32.

Procedure

Start

Enter simulation mode.

Make a test copy.

Enter 32 with the numeric keys.

abnormally light?

Is the copy image correct?

abnormally dark?

Setting range: 0 to 255
References: 190 for normal mode

100 for photo mode

Changing the value by one changes the drum
potential (grid potential) by about 2 V.
The larger the value, the darker the image;
the smaller the value, the lighter the image.

The new setting
is stored.

Select the mode to be adjusted
with the paper select key.
Mode 1: normal-mode grid
