3-3-9 Fixing and eject section

(1) Replacing the fixing heater

Replace the fixing heater as follows.

Procedure

1. Detach the left cover.
2. Remove the white 1-pin connector of the fixing heater, red 1-pin connector of the fixing

heater relay wire, 2-pin connector of the fixing unit thermistor and 3-pin connector of the
eject switch.

3. Open the front cover and turn the paper conveying section lever down.
4. Remove the two screws holding the two fixing unit pins at the machine front, and then

remove the pins.
