(8-3) Adjusting the trailing edge blank cut for 100% copy
Make the following adjustment if the trailing edge margin on a 100% copy image is not 0 mm.
Important : Before starting this adjustment, ensure (8-1) Adjusting the leading edge
registration timing has been completed.
Procedure
Start
End
Enter simulation mode.
Enter 59 with the numeric keys.
Yes
No
Press the print key.
Press the all clear/reset key.
Press the stop/clear key.
Press the print key to make a
test copy.
Exit simulation mode.
Is trailing edge
margin A 0 mm?
Change the setting with the
zoom-up/down keys.
Press the print key.
Setting range: 0 to 65
Reference: 55
Increasing the value makes the margin narrower,
and decreasing it makes the margin wider.
The new setting is stored.
Place an A3/11"
×
17" sheet on
the contact glass with the original
holder open (Figure 3-3-18).
Select mode 1 with the paper
select key.
