Connect the power plug.

1. Insert the power plug into the wall outlet.

Carry out initial developer setting (simulation 60).

1. Turn the main switch on and enter 10871087 with the numeric keys to enter

simulation mode.

2. Enter 60 with the numeric keys and press the print key.
3. Press the print key. After about 3 minutes, the toner sensor control voltage is

automatically set and the value appears on the copy quantity display.
Display example: 198
• Be sure to record the set value on the simulation label.
• Check that the copy start indicator is blinking: the indicator remains unlit if

automatic setting of the toner sensor control voltage has failed.

4. Press the stop/clear key.

Exit simulation mode.

1. Enter 01 with the numeric keys and press the print key. Simulation mode is exited.
