Removing the heat roller separation claws

7. Unhook the separation claw springs from the fixing unit upper guide and heat roller

separation claws.

8. Remove the E ring and pull the separation claw shaft out to remove the claws.
9. Clean or replace the heat roller and/or its separation claws.
10. Refit all the removed parts.

• When refitting the heat roller separation claws, ensure that their tips are not overriding

the fixing unit upper guide.
