Keysight 5500 SPM User’s Guide

If the spacing is not identical for the two sets of features, adjust the X 
Non-linearity terms in the Open Loop tab of the Scanner Setup dialog 
box, according to the following equation:

StartSize

 = size of features at the start of the scan

size of features at the end of the scan

CurrentTerm

 = current non-linear correction term.

Adjust 

Non-linearity 1

 for the Trace scan and adjust

target. The spacing between features should be approximately the same 
across the scan range for the Trace and Retrace scans.

Place a vertical cursor at the same location in the Trace and Retrace
