Calculations and Patient Reports

14.7.2

Before starting Cardiac Calculations

Make sure that the patient information is correct and the probe and application are selected properly.
If another application is selected, press the

[

Probe

]

key and confirm which application is selected

currently in the probe selection menu screen. Change the application to Cardio.

Refer to:

Probe/Program Selection

(chapter 4.5)

Patient information must first be registered via the Patient Information menu.

To cancel all calculations performed before and begin a new measurement, press the

[

End Exam

]

key

on the control panel.

To enter Basic Cardiac Information

Enter the information for the Cardiac Calculations in addition to the basic patient
information via the

[

Patient

]

key and select the Application Cardio.

The selected information appears as follows.

The patient information for the cardiac calculations includes Height, Weight, HR (Heart Rate).

When the patient's Height and Weight is entered, the BSA (Body Surface Area) is automatically
displayed.
