Measurements and annotations

On the measurements and annotations page, you can set the default font size for
measurements and annotations and enable or disable the IMT measurement tools.

The IMT measurement tools allow you to perform manual measurements of the
Intima-Media thickness

Measurement and annotations font size

This font size will be displayed when placing measurements or annotations. The
default font size is 10.

♦ Select a default font size from the drop down menu.

IMT measurement tools

Once enabled, users will be able to place IMT measurements on 2D and M-Mode
images; select from IMT and I/M in 2D and IMT in M-Mode. See

♦ Tap the

Enable IMT measurement tools

check box to enable the IMT

measurement tools.

A confirmation dialog will be displayed. Before enabling the IMT tools, it is suggested
to read

"Adding an IMT measurement"

on page 302 to ensure you understand how to

use these tools properly.

Annotations

On the annotations page, you can add custom annotation labels used on acquired or
saved images.

Custom annotation labels can be edited and deleted—predefined annotation labels
cannot.
