11. The system must be calibrated after a replacement routine. Select Menu / Operation /
Manual operation / Determine calibration factor .
12. After the calibration go back to MODE / Continue automatic mode or MODE / Start
automatic mode .
12.7 Replacing the Liquid Manager
You require the following parts:
CAV800-GGxx+PT for CA80NO
Preparations to replace the Liquid Manager
1. Rinse the system (see the "Rinsing the system" section).
2. Remove the bottles and the bottle tray.
3. Remove the cover of the carrier board.
Removing the dispensers
1. Menu / Operation / Dispenser replacement / Dispenser selection Select .
2. Select all the dispensers.

Draw up dispenser Select .
4. Disconnect the power to the analyzer.
5. Open the dispenser holder by pressing both snap-fit hooks together and removing it.
6. Turn the dispenser clockwise to remove it from the Liquid Manager.
7. Remove the adapter and the dispenser from the dispenser drive. To do so, hold the
dispenser by the black block at the lower end and pull the block from the metal pin.
Replacing the Liquid Manager
1. Release and remove the 4 Allen screws (4 mm) on the Liquid Manager.
2. Disconnect the two plug-in connectors of the Liquid Manager from the main PCB.
3. Release the four torx screws on the stepping motor of the old Liquid Manager.
Remove the stepping motor of the old Liquid Manager.
4. Mount the stepping motor on the new Liquid Manager.
5. Install the new Liquid Manager in the reverse order.
Reinserting the dispensers
1. Screw a new dispenser onto the Liquid Manager. Make sure that the dispenser is
connected correctly.
2. Slide the dispenser holder over the snap-fit hooks. Ensure that the holder snaps into
place. Make sure that the drain hose D6 is routed behind dispenser 7.
Reinserting the bottles and starting the analyzer again
1. Secure the cover and place the bottle tray back into the housing.
2. Connect the bottles to the appropriate covers and hoses.
3. Switch the analyzer back on.

Menu / Operation Select / Maintenance / Bottle change mode / Bottle insertion /
Bottle selection select .
5. Select all the bottles and press OK to confirm.
6. Confirm bottles inserted Select .
