Voice Mail service
If there is an incoming voice or videophone call while FOMA terminal is in a
location where radio waves are hard to reach or is powered OFF or if you do not
answer the call within the specified ring time, this service answers the caller with
a reply message and stores a voice message for you.

To give priority to Voice Mail service with Answer machine active, set ring time
for Voice Mail service which is shorter than a response time for Answer
machine.
･
When an incoming voice or videophone call is not answered with Voice Mail
active, it is recorded as a missed call and
(The digit indicates the number
of missed calls) appears on the stand-by display.

To change videophone call settings for Voice Mail service, make a voice call at
"1412".
･
When a new voice message is received from a videophone call, it is notified with
SMS.
･
When connected to the Voice Mail service center using Chara-den, DTMF
operation is unavailable. Operate by switching to Send DTMF from submenu.

Basic flow of Voice Mail service
Step 1 : Activate the service.
Step 2 : The caller leaves a voice message.
Step 3 : Play the voice message.

When 2in1 is ON, activation, deactivation, playing and setting of Voice Mail
service can be set for Number A and B respectively. You can make settings
for Number A in A mode and for Number B in B mode and select one of
numbers to be set in Dual mode. Other settings are common to Number A
and B.
