Sound/Screen/Light Settings
Operation sound : Set the volume of Keypad sound, Open/Close sound and
Display turn sound.

If setting to "Silent", the confirmation sound is not emitted when the code
is read.
Melody effect sound : Set the volume for playing melody (including melody
attached to mail or MessageR/F). Also reflected to the volume of Settings
of Melody.

"Silent" and "Steptone" cannot be set for Listen volume. "Steptone" cannot
be set for i-

Using vibrator to signal incoming calls and
alarms

The operation of vibrator for receiving 64K data communication depends on the
setting of incoming voice call.

This setting is also reflected to settings for Vibrate alert or Vibrate effect in Call
alert, Videophone alert, PushTalk alert, Mail alert, MessageR alert, MessageF
alert, Chat mail alert, Positioning alert and i-

ppli settings.

If FOMA terminal is on the desk etc. when the vibrator operates, it may fall off
because of the vibration.

Vibrator is set and FOMA terminal vibrates on the incoming call/message and
alarm notification.

If you place the cursor on "Pattern A", "Pattern B" or "Pattern C", it vibrates
in the pattern at the cursor position.

When setting to "Sync melody", the vibrator operates along with the
melody set for ring alert etc. Note that it may not synchronize depending
on the melody.
